A preserved adobe home, Magoffin Home State Historic Site tells the stories of one of El Paso’s early prominent families who actively participated in U.S. expansion and settlement, military service.
The home still contains many items that belonged to the family, including furniture, decor, and personal items. The city of El Paso and the state of Texas purchased the home from the family’s heirs. Together they preserve a part of our Texas history!
